1. Environment and landscape integration

A number of regulations define the State's policy and summarize the best practices for integrating engineering structures harmoniously into their site:

• circular dated September 24, 1984 on the landscape and architectural quality of road structures;

• circular no. 87-88 of October 27, 1987 on the procedures for drawing up and examining technical files concerning the construction and development of freeways under concession;

• circular no. 94-56 of May 5, 1994 on the preparation, appraisal and approval of investment projects on the unconcessioned national road network;

• circulars no. 96-19 of December 12, 1995 and March 31, 2005 on the "1% landscape and development" policy for freeways and major interregional routes....
