5. Conclusion

Water testing is based solely on risk calculation. This will determine the frequency of analyses: bacteriological analyses will be carried out more frequently. In addition, knowledge of a certain number of water parameters enables us to better identify microbiological problems:

  • pH ;

  • turbidity ;

  • forms of nitrogen ;

  • oxidizability ;

  • dissolved oxygen ;

  • bactericidal agent content.

When monitoring medium- and long-term risks, mainly physicochemical, the frequency of analyses will generally be lower.
