1. Definitions

The word "tramway" refers to a railroad track consisting of 2 parallel rails on which steel-wheeled vehicles provide urban passenger transport services. Then, by extension, the electrically-powered transport vehicle running on these rails, often embedded in the pavement, and guided by them.
