1. A technique for solving the complex problem of risk acceptability
In the first part of the article, we look back at the method described by ISO 31010, its variants and its contribution to other ISO methods, as well as the foundations which, from our point of view, contributed to its emergence. They also contributed to its development as the solution-method for solving the complex problem of risk acceptability, whether for projects or the product(s) of a potentially complex project, such as a construction project.
Next, a theoretical model illustrates how insurance can be designed to address risk acceptability in conjunction with business performance and company solvency. A relay model illustrates a possible application to project pricing for construction companies.
