2. Waterproofing: "class I4

2.1 Cracking

If the hydraulic rendering is the site of existing or future cracks, the opening of which is less than 20/10th of a millimeter, "I4" waterproofing will be a solution for masking these cracks.

This "flexible film" capability lies in the system's formulation, which includes a plasticizer additive to give it a certain residual elasticity once the resin has polymerized.

It should be noted that NF P 84-402 recommends a performance class ranging from I1 to I4, depending on crack opening (cf. § 9.2.1.2.1 of
