 INTRODUCTION

The part of the ERP fire safety regulations concerning construction (article CO of the modified June 25, 1980 decree) enables basic building design studies to be carried out, taking into account the criteria for sizing premises and means of evacuation. In addition, this section specifies the rules governing the non-diffusion of fire and emergency response zones.

This is a very important part of the overall project, from the preliminary design to the tender documents. Correct interpretation is essential, as it also forms part of the design of the fire safety file submitted to the local (or departmental) fire safety commission.
