7. Appliances installed in premises accessible or not to the public

7.1 Device power limits (GC 19)

Cooking and reheating appliances may be used if their total power output is less than or equal to 20 kW.

For small portable devices, only :

  • electric or gas appliances with a maximum power output of 3.5 kW ;

  • butane gas appliances fuelled by a cylinder weighing 1 kg or less;

  • unpressurized alcohol flame devices, with a maximum capacity of 0.25 liters. They must be refilled away from the public.
