 INTRODUCTION

Alarm systems installed in establishments open to the public (ERP) must comply with the general principles defined according to the category of establishment, i.e. articles MS 58 to MS 65 of the safety regulations [TBA 3 011] , or articles PO 11 and PO 12 (Rules specific to hotels – Consignes – Signalisations – Affichages et formation du personnel en sécurité incendie) against the risks of fire and panic in establishments open to the public and, secondly, to the rules specified in instruction n° 248 relating to alarm systems, the aim of which is to define the minimum technical requirements to be met by these systems.
