6. Reaction to fire classifications

6.1 Sustainability of rankings

The purpose of this chapter is to define the accelerated ageing tests required to estimate the durability of the reaction-to-fire classifications of the following materials:

  • solid wood and wood-based panels ;

  • synthetic materials other than textiles ;

  • textile materials protected from the elements.
