6. Reaction to fire classifications
6.1 Sustainability of rankings
The purpose of this chapter is to define the accelerated ageing tests required to estimate the durability of the reaction-to-fire classifications of the following materials:
solid wood and wood-based panels ;
synthetic materials other than textiles ;
textile materials protected from the elements.
However, these provisions do not apply to commonly-used synthetic materials, which are known to age well outdoors or indoors, or to the materials listed in Appendix A of standard NF P 92-512. In order to identify these materials, an information sheet, a model of which is given in §
