Arrachement superficiel ; Surface tearing

Concrete defects caused by excessive adhesion between the formwork skin and the hardened material, resulting in an irregular appearance after form stripping.

Reinforced concrete ; Béton armé

Concrete cast around wire mesh or metal reinforcement to improve mechanical strength.

Boiseur ; Formwork carpenter

Worker specialized in the manufacture and assembly of wooden formwork on construction sites.

Bullage ; Air voids

Presence of visible cavities or air bubbles in the concrete face, resulting from insufficient vibration or an excessively flexible formwork skin.
