1. Planning certificates

Certificats d'urbanisme (planning certificates) are documents issued by the authorities, informing the applicant of the planning regulations applicable to a given plot of land.

There are two types of certificate: the information certificate and the operational certificate.

The information certificate provides information on the situation of a plot of land, while the operational certificate provides information on the feasibility of the project indicated. It is not compulsory for the administration to issue a certificate, but it is strongly recommended that you request one.
