3. Contract award and content

In general, the project owner is free to choose the procedure to be adopted for awarding the work he intends to have carried out. He may deal with the lessor of his choice (in the case of a private contract) without having to call for competition. It can also use an adjudication, tender or competition procedure.

It is also free to decide on the number and list of companies it wishes to consult, as well as the conditions they must meet (professional qualifications, references, etc.).
