2.1 Selection criteria

The most frequently encountered selection criteria are :

• find the right equipment for the job, depending on :

  • analysis of site needs and constraints,

  • the possibility of assembly and dismantling in collective safety,

  • ergonomic aspects of equipment (weight of equipment, working postures, circulation, etc.);

• purchase, hire and use equipment that complies with current standards, and above all that assembly and dismantling can be carried out in the permanent presence of a collective safety system;
