6. Safety precautions before using scaffolding

6.1 Preliminary examinations and checks

Regulatory checks are provided for in the decree of December 21, 2004. They include a pre-commissioning check at each installation site:

• when first used;

• when scaffolding is dismantled and then reassembled;

• following changes in conditions of use, atmospheric conditions or the environment, as these three factors are likely to affect the safe use of the scaffolding;

• following an interruption in use of at least one month.
