A duration of 2 months appears to be the minimum desirable: this is the duration generally adopted by quality circles.

The Special Conditions of Contract (CCAP) may specify, for example, in the article concerning contractual deadlines:

• Site preparation time (generally set at 2 months for projects lasting more than 6 months);

• drawing up and submitting to the project manager for approval the work schedule, together with a project for site installations and temporary works;
