9. Safety glazing installation rules

9.1 Laminated glass in general – PVB (source: CIVF)

Laminated glass in general must be installed in accordance with standards PR NF 78-201-4 and PR NF 78-201-5 :

  • rebate and support height: follow the requirements of article 4.1132 of DTU 39.4;

  • minimum rebate height :

    • 20 mm for a half-perimeter p > 5 m,

    • 25 mm for 5 m < p < m 7 m ;

  • waterproofing: follow chapter V of the above-mentioned standards.
