INTRODUCTION
Building a new roof with interlocking or gliding clay tiles often poses no problems for the roofer, apart from connections at the edges or ridge when there are buildings adjoining the roof. In these cases, the application of the rules of the trade or the technical rules imposed by the DTU will enable installation offering all the guarantees required by insurers. On the other hand, roofing over an old frame requires more attention, as the original frame may have been deformed or deteriorated. In this case, roofing rehabilitation must take into account possible deformation of the framework.
