2.1 The CSCP and its control in the switchgear cell

The power switch function is built around the semiconductor chip itself, coupled to a package or assembly substrate, associated with a heat sink. The CSCP may be connected to a switching support circuit, which can be considered an integral part of the switch function. This assembly constitutes the power part of the function.
