4. Environmental aspects

In line with the objectives of the National Low Carbon Strategy (SNBC), which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, decarbonization aspects will be mentioned or developed in a separate section or throughout the text, depending on the subject of the article:

• cost or energy balance of the process, changes needed to improve energy efficiency ;

• carbon footprint, assessment of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions ;

• life cycle assessment (LCA), waste recycling, emissions treatment, CO ₂ capture solutions...

Other environmental impacts such as the ecological footprint, effects on biodiversity and other types of pollution will not be forgotten.
