3.1 Introduction to the notion of equivalent models
The basic elements for simulation are equivalent models for the various components used and for the different EMC issues we need to study (conducted or radiated emissions, immunity, electrostatic discharge, self-compatibility, signal integrity, etc.). For the purposes of this article, we'll confine ourselves to the most fundamental aspects, which generally have the greatest impact on filtering and routing constraints. The elementary models used for passive and active components are presented below. These models can be reused for calculations performed using the Kron method presented in the article
