6. Conclusion

The aim of this project was to analyze and highlight the contribution of FPGAs to the control of electrical machines. To this end, several current controls for synchronous machines have been implemented on FPGA targets. To reduce the complexity of using FPGA solutions, a methodical and less intuitive approach was used. This approach is based on an appropriate development methodology that addresses the various architectural design constraints of the control algorithms.

The current control techniques studied in this work are ON/OFF control and PI controller control. The operating mode, characterizing the implemented architecture of each of these techniques, has been presented and analyzed.
