The shift from petroleum-based oils to green alternatives is now an essential means of protecting the world from climate change. The Paris Agreement ratified by 194 parties (i.e. 193 countries, plus the European Union) – entered into force on November 4, 2016 – appears to be a structuring element in this dynamic.
