5. Cissoidal transformation

In this section, we adopt the convention of underlining complex variables.

5.1 Definition

Consider a sinusoidal signal of pulsation ω applied to a linear system :

f (t ) = A sin( ωt + ϕ )

By developing the sine, we can also write :

f (t ) = a sin ωt + b cosωt

with :
