Various lines of research are constantly being explored to improve insulation systems. These include enhancing the intrinsic characteristics of mica paper semi-finished products, by increasing the regularity of their particle size, combining them with other mineral or organic fibers or fillers, and using more economical or easier-to-use substrates.
