1. Order structure

  • To situate the problem of digital control of electric machines, let's take a look at figure 1 , which shows the general control diagram for an electric actuator. It is structured in several fundamental blocks:

    • the machine itself, which can be supplied with voltages ( v ) or currents (i ) and which supplies a torque (γ ) to a mechanical load (not studied here);

    • sensors, in particular :

      • current,

      • speed,

      • on the machine;

    • the static converter, whose elementary components (switches) always operate in switching mode;
