2.1 Sizing PV systems

PV systems are inherently complex: the MPPT function is emblematic of this systemic aspect. We have identified a huge variety of possible structures and architectures, and shown how the energy productivity of the PV generator depends on many factors. Its dependence on the local solar deposit is naturally a very specific primary property.

This is particularly the case for stand-alone or isolated PV systems that have to provide a given energy service.
