5.1 Wiring diagram
Network constraints, and in particular the need to keep fault currents to a minimum, make the basic diagram a little more complex, in particular by introducing an impedance across the superconducting element (figure 12 ). This impedance only comes into play in the limiting regime, since it is otherwise short-circuited by the superconductor.
