3. Superconducting current-limiting device

3.1 Transitionless superconducting limiters

Some superconducting limiters don't use the transition, just the zero (DC) or very low (AC) losses of the superconductors. These limiters therefore don't have to recover the superconducting state after limiting, and can be put back into service immediately.
