This is certainly the area that has evolved the most in recent years, and will continue to do so in the years to come, thanks to a combination of two factors:

• the technical possibilities of automated coupling between a centralized information system and decentralized equipment have completely changed the offering;

• today's energy management, which seeks to optimize usage and enrich the economic signals given to users, increases the need for data dissemination.
