5. Technology solutions

Taking into account the parameters and constraints described in the previous paragraphs, the following technical solutions are used by manufacturers to produce SEM equipment.

5.1 General architecture of a substation

  • A SEM station is made up of an assembly of sub-assemblies comprising :

    • equipment used in electrical substations (circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, measuring transformers, etc.);

    • the connection elements between these devices and the busbars, mainly consisting of straight elements (ferrules with conductor and insulator supports), the length of which is made to order, and change-of-direction and branching...
