Accumulator; secondary cell

Element designed to be recharged electrically. Recharging is accomplished by means of a reversible chemical reaction.

Batterie d'accumulateurs; battery

One or more battery cells fitted with the devices required for use, e.g. housing, terminals, marking and protective devices.

Batterie de service; service battery

Set of electrical energy storage cells, placed in a receptacle and constituting the source of electrical energy for the vehicle's service equipment.

Batterie de servitude; servitude battery

Set of electrical energy storage cells, placed in a receptacle and constituting the source of electrical energy for the vehicle's and machine's service equipment.
