6. LV network protection

6.1 General

Low-voltage industrial and tertiary networks are extremely branched. The number of pipes and loads to be protected is very large, the importance of service continuity more diffuse (a power supply interruption is only really annoying if it affects a large number of loads), and maintenance or repair operations more immediate.
