6. Challenges to meet

A risk-opportunity analysis is a natural part of any large-scale program. This is all the more necessary and complex as the project covers a vast field and involves numerous players in a changing regulatory environment. In this section, we list the various challenges to be met, each of which represents a response to a potential risk. These points may be developed in more detail in subsequent articles.

Part of the business model hinges on customer acceptability. Are customers ready to take an interest in energy, to buy energy management services that will enable them to take control of their own consumption, and thus become more involved in an approach that optimizes the use of resources?
