8. Conclusion

After presenting the general context in which the emergence of Smart Grids became inevitable, a definition common to several institutions was given.

To fully understand the new features and challenges of these networks, it was necessary to present the new technologies involved, the new players involved and the business models linking these new parties.

Once this general framework had been put in place, a series of intelligent new functions were highlighted.

Among these new features and challenges, cybersecurity is a major element in today's technical environment.

However, the acceptability and deployment of these solutions cannot be achieved without reflection within institutional, governmental or more academic initiatives, and finally without the preliminary phase involving demonstrators....
