There is currently no universal definition of voltage dips and short interruptions. The values for amplitude and duration vary according to the various existing or planned standards.

Voltage dips are characterized by their residual amplitude and duration.

Note :

characterizing a voltage dip by its depth is difficult: what value should be taken as a reference? Residual voltage, on the other hand, is perfectly defined (in volts, for example).
