Although they are closely related disciplines, the fundamentals of power electronics receive little or no training in the design of electronic functions. The introduction to this subject has attempted to evoke different points of view, demonstrating the wealth of approaches devoted to the static conversion of electrical energy, or switching voltage converters, which are not isolated in a very large number of applications.

The proposed collection brings together articles chosen for their content and the level of detail with which they are approached: neither too simple, nor too complicated.
