1. Frequency band management and forecasting

Efficient spectrum management requires the delimitation of frequency bands that bring together mutually compatible services. Many frequency bands also need to be harmonized between neighboring countries, or even at global level for very long-range frequencies, or those used by satellites and on-board systems on ships and aircraft. Drawing on contributions from French spectrum users and its own research and forecasting activities, ANFR prepares and defends national positions for European and international meetings, and leads these negotiations. Based on the possibilities opened up by this work, ANFR's Board of Directors regularly proposes updates to the TNRBF to the Prime Minister.
