9.1 Emergency organization

Entirely dependent on the ORSEC (ORganisation des SECours) plan, this organization was proposed to the Civil Protection services, who found it a means of communication they didn't have. Almost all French departments are organized in this way, with teams ready to operate around the clock. There are three types of collaboration: emergency traffic flow in the event of an ORSEC plan or its annexes being triggered, participation in exercises, major maneuvers, road safety and, finally, direction-finding for the search for aviation distress beacons. A number of real-life cases have demonstrated our rapid efficiency in this area. Each aircraft is equipped with a beacon on the international distress frequencies 121.5 and 243 MHz.
