2.1 Presentation of an augmented reality system

An augmented reality system must enable :

  • mixing virtual and real ;

  • match them in the event of user or environmental mobility;

  • enable the user to interact with the system in real time.

Note

The real-time constraint is strong in augmented reality, as all processing must be carried out online, whereas it is done offline in the case of special effects creation in post-production, for example.
