Function description

This is the ultimate function of Digital Media Asset Management (figure 1 ). The asset is the asset from which value can be extracted. It involves :

  • present digital media and facilitate their selection;

  • offer secure payment methods;

  • make acquired media products available.

For the first stage, each digital media product will have to be "materialized". E-commerce began with easily identifiable and familiar goods such as books and records. Each product is described in minute detail (number of pages, size of book, length...
