5. Physiological measurements of user behavior

Physiological measurements are effective in predicting the onset of symptoms. Stomach metabolic activity, eye blinking and breathing all appear to predict the onset of symptoms. . Finally, the subjective experience of individuals and their relationship with video games can also be a source of information as to whether or not symptoms appear. It would appear that the frequency of video game use is inversely correlated with the onset of symptoms. In other words, the higher the frequency of use, the less sick the participants.
