4. Techniques for using interfaces

This section describes the main difficulties encountered when using behavioral interfaces. As already indicated, these difficulties fall into several categories:

  • technical ;

  • psychophysics ;

  • ergonomic ;

  • psychological.

  • Technical level

    And, more specifically for the desired metrological characteristics of hardware interfaces, how can these characteristics be determined in relation to the application? This is only possible if the designer is fully aware of the psychophysical characteristics of human senses and motor responses.
