6. Conclusion
This article introduces the basic concepts of quantum computing, as well as the best-known algorithms. It shows how to program a quantum computer, and simulate the operation of a program, before running it on a real quantum computer. Other algorithms exist, such as Grover's, which searches for an element that meets a given criterion among unclassified elements. More complex, it could not be presented in this article, which is only an introduction to quantum computation.
Thanks to their ability to perform calculations in parallel, quantum computers could solve complex problems that conventional computers are currently unable to handle efficiently (logistics, finance). Quantum computing also offers the prospect of developing new, more secure cryptographic methods...
