3. Standard MARTE 1.0

The MARTE UML profile is structured around two main concerns:

  • on the one hand, modeling the characteristics of real-time and embedded systems ;

  • secondly, annotation of application models to analyze system properties.

As shown in figure 1 :

  • A package contains the foundations required for both concerns;

  • another for sub-profiles dedicated to design ;

  • a third, sub-profiles dedicated to analysis;

  • an additional package containing utility or cross-functional sub-profiles and the library of models used by the specification and usable by MARTE...
