2. Oscillating neural networks

Oscillatory Neural Networks (ONN) are recurrent neural networks inspired by the brain's representation of information in the form of oscillations.

An ONN is a neural network where each neuron is an oscillator, and each synapse one or more analog or digital components, such as resistors, capacitors or logic memories, respectively. The weight of the synapse is defined by the value of each component. When two oscillators are connected by a synapse, they are coupled.
