6.1 What are assets?
Assets
"Any element that represents value to the organization" (source ISO/IEC 27000: 2013).
The important elements of an organization are the components of its capital (in the broadest sense) that enable it to carry out its activities. These are commonly referred to as assets.
A non-exhaustive list of assets is given as an example in table 2 .
