3. Conclusion

European law in the field of artificial intelligence is well underway. The December 2023 Agreement is at the origin of the EU Act on Artificial Intelligence. Like the RGPD for personal data protection, it is likely to serve as a reference for other countries. Nevertheless, we need to carefully examine the interactions of the various players, which will have an impact in the future of artificial intelligence law, particularly in the USA and China.

The Bletchley Declaration, signed by 28 countries, including the USA, China, the EU and emerging countries such as Brazil (November 3, 2023), illustrates this trend.
