11. Other methods

The Web engineering discipline is evolving rapidly. Many design approaches already exist, and there is a trend towards defining common metamodels.

As an example, we briefly describe two well-known approaches. They are similar to OOHDM in that they inherit the idea of separating conceptual modeling from navigation and interface design.

Here again, for reasons of brevity, the description offered is only a guide for readers interested in these methods.
