1.1 Definition of a stirring system

A stirring device (figure 1 ) consists of :

  • a drive system ;

  • of a tree ;

  • one or more moving parts.

The mechanical calculation must take into account two types of stress.

  • Agitator environment constraints

    These constraints depend on :

    • of the tank on which the agitator is installed ;

    • operating conditions;

    • of the products to be mixed.
