4. Tree

The tree line includes :

  • a guided shaft, known as the top shaft, on which the bearings rest;

  • a lower shaft on which the mobile is fixed.

4.1 Upper shaft

It is the diameter of this tree that is taken into account for the load transfer. For short shafts (< approx. 2 m), the shaft line can consist of a single shaft. However, for ease of installation, the shaft line is generally made up of two parts.
